Jurassic Park:
Stan Winston was responsible for creating the live-action dinosaurs used in the creation of Jurassic Park. Winston’s animatronics were combined with CGI by Industrial Light and Magic (ILM) to create the final living dinosaurs seen in the film. This animatronic Velociraptor, combined with CGI, stalked the cast through the visitor’s center at the end of the first film. It measures 5-1/2 feet tall and about 10-1/2 feet long from nose to tip of the tail. Here you see him packed carefully in a crate with supports to help prevent gravity from causing damage.
